| After measuring distance for beamguard, adjust cable within6' (1' with turnbuckle), attach cable to eye on beamguard using safety shackle, tighten nut and insert pin. Slide post on beam and tighten Insert QuickRod and tighten, attach side safety cables, check sag to ensure within range described in instructions. Lanyard with less than 6' shock pack is required. Detailed manual instructions must be followed to ensure device can withstand forces of fall. Warning: Users must strictly adhere to the manufacturer’s inspection, installation, maintenance and use directions; and must follow local, state and federal safety regulations. Structural member must be able to support 5000# force. Failure to do so could result in serious injury or death. |
